A marketing strategy such as retargeting with online banner ads and email marketing can accelerate turnover and success rates by capitalizing on the behaviors and actions that your audience has already taken. This was the method we utilized for United by Blue, a good-cause clothing line that supports environmental resources for the trash in the ocean.

Based on online behavior data, we found an audience group who were interested in United by Blue’s Ethical Manufacturing over their Sustainable Materials. Because of this, we produced an online ad that emphasized the importance and authenticity of their ethical manufacturing over the sustainable materials piece, which would result in more actions taken, more ads clicked, and more products sold.

Brand voice is a priority in our work and values direct storytelling and authenticity in stating the problems they have discovered. This effort emphasizes what their team is trying to do to solve problems from humble beginnings. This second ad would be targeted to a group that is already familiar with the brand, and therefore we utilized more specific details about the product and its offerings.

Email Marketing

In addition to online advertising, we crafted an email marketing strategy to match the brand identity, voice, and to increase sales further. This email template included incentives to the consumer if they take advantage of the current deal, as shown.

These three deliverables will create higher engagement and more sales by using retargeting strategies with the context of the potential customer and audience.
